Kathputli title sequence design was a project done for a short film directed by Girish Atuvalaipil that follows the story of a suspect being interrogated for his hand in orchestrating 9/11. Based on a short story by the famous author K.R Meera we wanted to show the event that shapes the story with the title sequence becoming a prologue to the short film.

Line as an element connects the different visuals associated with the chilling consequences of the event.

Owing to having just 48 hours to churn out the final sequence we barely had any time to explore. The whole video got ideated, storyboarded and approved on a single piece of paper with most of what was ideated translated as it is in the sequence.
