Inspired by legendary contemporary dancer Martha Graham, this project conveys the strength, grace and poise of the woman and the enigma that she was.

There she is in a dress that seems it would eat her alive; a high priestess and a goddess. She is often pictured with one leg pointing towards the sky, while her magnificent skirts fans out behind her like the courtship display of a peacock.

A stunning fusion of a bird and a flower, she hypnotizes the audience with her fluidity. It’s a myriad of emotion that she holds within. It’s difficult to believe that she is just one.
