Visualized as a pre-launch film as part of the Don't Hide It Period campaign. The film addresses the social taboos associated with periods. In a society where on top of expecting women to hide and control the messiness and paraphernelia that surrounds the evidence of their reality, there are a number of practices that enhances the stigmas associated with periods. As a sign of dissent we wanted these symbols associated with periods to themselves bleed registering the message that it's just a natural biological process and there is nothing to be ashamed of. After all it's just blood. Period.
  

Various visual abstractions were ideated based on the stigmas associated with menstruation.

We also pulled off some decent DIY VFX on a minor budget on this project. A lot of  the visuals were achieved with simple camera tricks and frugal rigs and a lot of clean ups.
