Central Square Foundation is a philanthropy fund and policy think tank that constantly strives to alleviate the education system in Indian schools. It does so by influencing public policy in the domain of education and supporting social entrepreneurs. Hence, its crucial that CSF communicates its policies effectively along with a strong and lasting impact on its stakeholders.

Designing a good visual language was our main task, but there was a challenge that came along. Our end users were not designers, but non-designers; the internal team of CSF. The design language had to be crafted in a way so that it could be easily implemented by internal project teams while making reports. It had to be made on the most basic word processing software, something that the team would already be adept with.

So, we designed the entire language on Microsoft Word by using colors and forms from their original logo and identity. We gave them templates which could be used to create reports while keeping a consistent visual language. We created designers out of non-designers.
